Description

Part of the Sharksaw Takumi Saw collection, the light and flexible Kugihiki Flush Cut Dowel Saw 10-2810 (Cross Cut 24 tpi - Kerf 0.014") was designed for flush cuts on the pull-stroke to precisely trim off dowels, plugs, wedges, and other trim material even to the wood surface without making any scratches. It is excellent for use in hardwoods requiring a thin kerf and smooth finish cut.

This saw's high-quality blade is made of folded sheets of high-grade steel for a veneer effect which enhances both blade strength and flexibility. Each tooth is beveled on three sides on a very thin diamond grinding wheel, resulting in a chisel-like point that cleanly slices through wood.

The electrically impulse hardened teeth maintain sharpness more than three times longer than average saw blades. However, the saw blade can be replaced, if necessary, with Replacement blade 01-2810. The blade is also treated with a tough, clear rust-retardant coating for exceptional durability.

The Kugihiki's sturdy wooden handle is wrapped with bamboo skin for a comfortable, secure grip.
