Each pattern package contains a detailed shopping list for all the materials needed. You can take the list to your favorite building materials dealer and find the fur fabric at most fabric stores.

A band saw works best for cutting out the wood parts; however, a hand saber saw will also do the job. To drill pilot holes for the screws, you will need an electric drill. Be creative and use hardwood to add unique character to the horse. Just knowing that your version of the Rok-A-Zoo rocking horse can be handed down from generation to generation is reward in itself!
