Description

Simply put, no tile toolbox should be without the Grout Removal Kit by Grout Getter Co. This kit was designed to quickly remove caulking and sanded, non-sanded, and epoxy grout from tiled countertops, backsplashes, tubs, showers, sinks, floors, and walls. It can also be used to scrape, score, and reach into corners and other hard-to-reach areas.

Grout Getter triangle blade.Grout Getter diamond blade. The kit includes two tools with soft-grip handles. The Grout Getter, easily spotted by its red handle (see tools above), is specially designed for scraping. It comes with two carbide blades that can be turned over to expose all new cutting edges on the opposite side. The triangle blade to the left is for grout joints 1/8-inch wide and larger. The diamond blade to the right is used to remove non-sanded grout from 1/8-inch joints or smaller. The blades are interchangeable with the included Allen wrench.

To scrape grout from a joint, simply place the blade's point onto the grout to be removed and apply a forward scraping pressure.

Corner Pro blade. The blue-handled tool is the Corner Pro (see tools above), developed to assist the Grout Getter in scraping out grout and caulking in corners, edges, and hard-to-reach areas. Thin grout joints in tile and stone are no longer an issue with the help of Corner Pro.

To use the Corner Pro, place one of the carbide blade points on the material to be removed and scrape out the material with a mostly pulling motion. The tool's design and the different angles of the blade enable the user to reach and scrape corners and edges on countertops, sinks, tubs, floors, showers—just about anywhere!

Other used for these tools include, but are not limited to, scribing cut lines on tile and stone, scraping mortar to properly fit liners, preparing tile joints for regrouting, scraping thinset, and scoring cement backerboards.

These heavy-duty grout removal tools can easily help you with your next grout removal project!
