Description
The 62-5517 Japanese Bypass Lopper is built stout and extremely sharp—it's perfect for cutting greenwood and dead branches up to 1-1/2" in diameter. Its blades open in a unique wide "U" shape to direct the branch deep into the critical leverage point for greater cutting power with minimal effort. Manufactured from the finest high-carbon Japanese steel, the extremely sharp blades are pressed, sharpened, and double-tempered for long-lasting sharpness. This pressed steel technology produces thin, durable blades that cut clean, easy, and fast. The lightweight extruded aluminum handles are oval-shaped for added strength and feature comfortable round soft elastomer grips. With an overall length of 31", the 62-5517 Bypass Lopper weighs just 2 lb. 6 oz.
