The 14" 10-2214 Composit Saw by Sharksaw is designed to cut the many new varieties of composite materials—mixtures of polymer and wood fiber—commonly used in the construction of outdoor decking, railings, and staircases. Composite materials are prone to stickiness, which often makes them difficult to cut, but the Composit Saw's 9 tpi saw blade features raker spaces that clean the bottom of the kerf. Because this saw does not generate high heat, as an electric saw would, dangerous kickbacks are eliminated.
The 10-2214 Composit Saw is perfect for cutting fascia, pickets, posts, and notches for precision placement. It's also great for cutting treated lumber and greenwood. The Composit Saw features a comfortable soft-grip handle and a simple twist-lock blade for quick and easy replacement and compact toolbox storage.
